The addition of the five point harness means your little one is securely seated. And for you, the taller handles mean no more hitting the back side of the stroller or the wheels while you go for that afternoon walk or trip to the mall. Sunny day no worries, the fully adjustable and removable (for those cloudy days) canopy means you're little one will always ride in the comfort of shade. And if your little one starts to nod off during your long afternoon walk, simply use the recline feature and they can comfortably sno ounce e while you continue on your way. The large upper storage console for you means your water bottle; your keys, your wallet and more are easy to access as you are out and about. And the underneath storage provides plenty of room for your diaper bag and any other extras you bring or buy along the way. And when you stop along the way, the rear wheel brakes (we also added front wheel swivel locks) will allow the stroller to stay in place. We've used this stroller almost every day for two years now. It is a fantastic product for the price!
It was a cinch to put together when it arrived. It folds and unfolds easily and pushes better than your average umbrella stroller. The straps are easily adjustable, so it's easy for our three-year-old to take the place of our one-year-old and vice versa. The handles are tall enough to make pushing comfortable for me (I'm 5'11") and decent for my husband (6'3"). It is a few pounds heavier than the higher end lightweight stroller and does not come with a carry strap, but is also half the price.

It has held up really well to daily use by two kids. The attached gear/cup holder is starting to rip at the seams slightly. And we've completely worn down the wheels, but other than that it is in great shape.

Today I emailed the First Years customer service department via their website to inquire about replacing the wheels. I received a response within the hour requesting my shipping info. New wheels are in the mail, free of charge!

We got this stroller as a second stroller because our travel system stroller takes up HALF of our trunk! This one is perfect for visiting Grandma's house (when we have a bunch of other stuff to pack, as well). My son is almost six months old and he's not sitting up on his own yet, but the Ignite reclines enough for him to be comfortable. The shade is adequate size and does a good job keeping the sun out of his face. It folds easily, and I've found that it's easy to store it in a corner of the closet. The ride is smooth for the baby, and Grandma actually thinks this stroller is easier to push and manuever than our bigger, more expensive one. The Ignite stroller IS slightly larger and heavier than some of the cheap umbrella strollers, but I can carry the baby and the stroller up our flight of stairs without a problem. I debated for quite awhile before buying this ... I felt like maybe it was a frivolous splurge when I could get a basic umbrella stroller much cheaper than this one. But, I absolutely do not regret my decision! I love this stroller, and even more importantly, my son loves it. If you and your precious little one plan on spending a fair amount of time cruising around the park, mall, or whatever, I highly recommend paying a little extra for this one!

We took a recent vacation with our 17 month old daughter that was to involve a 500+ mile trip in the car. I decided to look into purchasing a small/compact/umbrella type stroller in an effort to save space in the car by not taking our travel system monster. I found some really inexpensive umbrella strollers online and figured I would check them out in person. Umbrella strollers are apparently made for little people because there was no way myself or my wife would be able to push one of those things around. I decided it would be worth it to do a little more research and spend a little more money to get something that we could actually use. I came across this stroller by accident actually, Amazon to the rescue! It was actually a suggestion that came up while I was looking at something else. I couldn't believe the price point and the high ratings so I started reading through the reviews. I probably read all of them..200+ and really couldn't find any reason to spend any more money to get a different brand/model. Ours arrived the day before we left for our trip and I assembled it in literally 3 minutes. Very nice quality, simple folding mechanism, great canopy and little parent console up top, plenty of storage space below, 5 point harness..etc etc. You don't need my review to repeat what everybody else already said I just really thought this was a great purchase and I would really recommend it to anyone in the market for something similar. Ours performed beautifully..we used it exclusively for our entire trip and have continued to use it now that we are home. Our daughter actually fell asleep so we just reclined it back (easily) and she slept for over an hour. That is the first time she has ever fallen asleep and actually stayed asleep in a stroller.Read more ›

We bought this stroller to replace the heavy, bulky and space consuming Graco stroller that came with a travel system. The Graco was great and never gave us problems but now that my son is 15 months and requires a bit less when we are out (no bottles, blankets, 20 diapers, etc) we figured we could downsize. Here's what we found:

PRO's
*The colors are very nice, not washed out like the are in some strollers. However, the "red stripe" is really more burgundy. We don't care but it could be a problem for some.
* Light, light, light!
* Easy to fold and unfold. I can't fold it with one hand but that wasn't a problem for me - I always put my kid in the carseat before I put up the stroller anyway.
* Great steering! I had no idea how hard our Graco was to steer till we tried this. Talk about tight corners! No more backing up the aisles in stores because the stroller can't turn! This stroller can do it with no problem!
* I'm short (5'0) but it was comfortable for me to steer as well as my husband (5'10).
* Odd parent tray (it's squashy material rather than a rigid plastic) but it held everything we needed and collapsed well. Plus there was a cool little zipper pocket to hold things like germ-x, keys, etc.

CON's
* No snack tray for the kid. Yes, you can buy attachments like sunshine kids but they don't tend to have good reviews.
* The cupholder for the kid is way over on the side and impossible for them to reach - especially if they're buckled in. I was surprised other reviewers didn't mention this but I find it annoying to constantly be handing my kid his cup and then taking it back when he's done. Again, an attachment could solve this but they don't get good reviews.
