5.0 out of 5 stars Great Little Manual March 1, 2013
I was pleasantly surprised when I read this very well researched booklet on high intensity exercise. Everything is explained in detail, with specific guidlines provided and the scientific parts are explained in layman's terms. It is easy to see why high intensity is such a good way to train. I was recently adjusting my own workouts and I do find I am getting more benefit in less training time. These training principles make sense and really work. This was worth the small price for sure.

Anyone interested in working out to improve their physical and mental well-being should read and then, frequently reread and/or refer to “The Fitness Center Handbook.” So, keep it handy! Make its pages dog-eared!

Read it for the first time to get motivated and educated! You’ll be eager and able to apply the booklet’s great advice for planning and properly implementing smart lifestyle changes that include an optimally effective and safe strength training regimen as well as a complimenting nutritional regimen.

Reread this great booklet, periodically or as necessary to maintain your motivation as well as your awareness of the core principles and methods that underlie intelligent and adaptable approaches to achieving fitness (especially strength training) and overall health.
