Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover

A must-have resource for any parent whose child has chronic health complaints

It’s a frustrating treadmill: taking your child to the doctor for yet another ear infection, respiratory issue, tummy ache, or rash that can affect growth, susceptibility to infection, school performance, and energy levels, and being prescribed one treatment after another—only to be back a month later. The Food Cure for Kids shows you how to minimize such ailments and symptoms by making minor changes to your child’s nutrition that have a real and lasting impact.

Instead of prescribing elaborate dietary restrictions, pediatrician Natalie Geary and nutritionist Oz Garcia explain in straightforward terms how a nutritional imbalance can dramatically affect your child’s health. They also highlight the difference between allergies and dietary intolerance. With this book in hand, you will better understand your child’s immune system, making it possible to track symptoms accurately and take the right steps to improve his or her health.

Learn how to conquer these chronic conditions:
ear infections • bronchitis • stomachaches  • skin rashes • low energy/moodiness

5.0 out of 5 stars Full of helpful information, and easy to read September 7, 2010
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
If you are a parent who cares about what your kids eat, this book by a pediatrician and a nutritionist is exactly what you need. Without a bunch of dry information about chemistry, and with a balanced attitude about the organic foods we might prefer, and the fast snacks that are hard to avoid, I found it to be easy to read and very helpful. I will definitely put some of these principles to good use for my kid. Highly reoommended!
