About the Author

Lorenzo R. Curtis was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. At the age of 12, shortly after the passing of his mother the late Louise Curtis, he began writing poetry. In this book, he tells of how writing became therapeutic for him as he dealt with the loss of a loved one at such a young age. He studies Economics and Finance at The College of the Bahamas where he has also served as the Public Relations Officer of COBUS (Student Government) and as the Managing Editor for the college's Student Newspaper, "The Spectrum."
