Book Description

October 28, 2010
They are real. They are the harbingers of the Apocalypse. And only one woman stands between them and us. THE FOUR HORSEMEN is a race-against-the-clock thriller starring Andie Sullivan. As the world's only "culturalist," she is employed by corporations and wealthy individuals to break through the barriers with any culture around the globe. Now, she faces the most challenging and dangerous assignment of her career. Hired by a ruthless businessman to infiltrate the mysterious tribe who serve as the protectors of the Four Horsemen's ancient secret, Andie is plunged into a mysterious world where every answer only opens the door to more questions. With a shadowy government force and a brutal terrorist also vying for the Horsemen's unfathomable power, Andie must collect them all and unlock their mysteries before time runs out.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW! January 18, 2011
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I took a chance on this new author and am glad I did. An incredible page-turner that I couldn't put down.

Sussman has a wonderful ability to write non-stop entertainment from the very first page. The action scenes are exciting and the characters & dialogue keep things moving along at a brisk pace. It's like a movie in novel form.

If you're into authors like Dan Brown, Steve Berry, James Rollins, this book is definitely for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not my usual read, but I loved it April 10, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I really enjoyed this book, I agree with the others that say it is similar to the writings of Dan Brown. However, Ben Sussman has his own way of writing, and it shows. You should really read this book, you won't be disappointed. I don't leave spoilers in my reviews, but I will just say you won't want to put this down. Plan for a weekend of reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, page turner January 21, 2011
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I really enjoyed this book. It's a Dan Brown-esque thriller about the hunt for the four horsemen of the apocalypse. I wouldn't want to give away too much because part of the fun is the globe-trotting locations and unique characters. But it keeps you riveted and blends in historical and cultural facts seamlessly with the story. The one thing I will say is that the ice fortress setting is one of the coolest (no pun intended) I've read in a long time.

Ben Sussman weaves a good story throughout. The flashbacks to characters history was interesting and helped develop believable personas. Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining story, but poor grammar
This story was entertaining. However, there was quite a lot of poor grammar and awkward sentence structure. I found this to be very distracting. Mr. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Tomb Raider meets Davinci Code
I really loved this story. It took me a while to like the main character, but she is gradually fleshed out. Pacing was very well done.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good read
Page-turner, bad guy, in my opinion, intimidating and cold. Didn't like that much the fast paste of the book, other than that I enjoyed the book very much.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Four Horsemen. Ben Sussman draws you in at a good steady pace, then takes you on the ride. Hard to put down.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Four Horsemen
This is a thriller with plenty of action crossing most of the globe. A good read and well worth the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting subject matter.
Although one might have doubts in the beginning about how this subject could be worked out in a way one can believe in, the author succeeds in keeping the reader in suspense. Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun read, not fully fleshed out
This was a fun read in the style of Dan Brown. However the story wasn't fully fleshed out, had some inconsistencies, and didn't explore all I had hoped for. Read more
