Bought DVD primarily for my father, as I am not crazy about Fernandel. There is a certain charm about these old French movies, although the quality of the print is not great, with annoying large subtitles that do not always correlate with spoken dialogues.

Quite dated and predictable. Fernandel's acting is quite good, given what he has to work with, but the rest of the cast is so-so.

This is a 1954 French comedy starring Fernandel. It has its funny moments although overall it's a bit outdated. Worth watching though for classic movies' fans.

I did not finish the movie. Period piece comedy. A little too silly for me.
