Most Helpful Customer Reviews

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By P. J. White on April 18, 2011
Format: Paperback
This true story of a man who was much more complicated than his family imagined was riveting. Lots of international intrigue involving not only the company he worked for, but "the company" - a book that was hard to put down. Lots of history we never learned in school - Strongly recommended!!

Format: Paperback
This is the compelling and fascinating story of a man who was a virtual stranger to his family; a man of few words who, while away on business half the year, lived an unlikely, exciting, influential, and secret double life.

More About the Author

Mike Tarnpoll graduated from Rutgers University and The Morse School of Business. After many years in the world of small business and later in retail management, he made the decision to leave it all behind to pursue his passion.

The love of words has always been Mike's defining characteristic whether writing promotional copy, "How To" material for new entrepreneurs or engaging in an animated exchange of ideas, the carefully chosen word is his trademark. No topic is too small to engage him or to be exempted from consideration. Perhaps that is the reason that Mike is known to his family and closest friends as "Hannibal Lecturer."

Besides writing and talking, Mike is devoted to animal welfare and enjoys cooking and landscaping projects. He is addicted to crossword puzzles.
