Comment: This book has already been loved by someone else. It MIGHT have some wear and tear on the edges, have some markings in it, or be an ex-library book. Over-all it is still a good book at a great price! (if it is supposed to contain a CD or access code, that may be missing)

My daughter needed this book for her GED class. I scanned through the book and consider it a good book for anyone wanting to improve their writing skills. It would be most useful for those who are at the beginning stages of writing (or teaching someone at that level) but is also useful for those who would say to themselves "I know how to write."

The book gives examples of different skill levels of writing so that the reader can evaluate their skill level and also see examples of writing at high skill levels.

It is a good tool to promote acceptable writing for both business and pleasure, writing that readers will be able to understand.
