This book includes basic and advanced information regarding proper techniques for forensic interviews and interrogations. After using the techniques/information presented in this text and others, I have never had one of my interviews or interrogations ruled inadmissible in criminal court during 19 years of police work.

As a writer I find this core work essential for how interviews and interrogations procede. Recommended to me by another writer.

A classic in this genre. Mr. Royal is a misogynistic and stereotypical in his profiling, but to be expected considering the publishing date. Although, things have not changed much with law enforcement.
