This is required reading for anyone interested in Volga German history. Not designed for the casual reader, it is filled with both facts and opinion. Written by a Catholic Priest who was murdered by a group of Communist insurgents in in 1921, the original manuscript was completed in 1914 and was re-published in 1923 after the authors death. The current translation was done on behalf of the AHSGR.
