I had Jill's self titled CD, in my collection for 4 years, I think it was given to me as a present and regretfully to say I neglected it. One day I took it out and listened to it; I mean really listened to it. I began to hear the heart of the song, the writers soul, and the singer. I was a solid fan from that point.

Her last album, "Nobody's Got it Together" was one of her best and is a timeless set of music. I have that CD permantally on my MP3 player.

When I found out about the new release coming out, needless to say I was full of aniticipation. I just received it this week and have not been able to listen to anything else. The writing team of Jill and her husband Andy, are certianly a collabroration designed by God Himself.

I know this is a poor illustration, but Jill's music and art remind of a pair of your old levi's you just pulled out of the drier, comfortable, warm and familiar. She certainly goes beyond the surface and into your heart, speaking sometimes for my soul, giving me words I didn't think of to say.

"The Good Things" certianly is a excellent addition to rich full,inspiring and warm music/art legacy she is leaving.
