It really just means that I got to read the book before anyone else, but I'm a pretty picky reader.

I have not come across such juvenile writing in recent times.

The book drew me in from the very first. The plot was fast paced and very enjoyable. Faith is a chosen prophet of Lucifer with a conscience. This book touches upon some taboo subject matter and is not for readers who are close minded about religion. There is quite a lot of profanity in here so if you are easily offended, don't read the book.

Faith is not someone you would think of as the Antichrist as you will learn in the book. She actually has a conscience.

Be prepared for a fast-paced metaphysical ride of a lifetime.

I give this book 5 star. I look forward to reading more of this series.

I agree with everyone but Natile's review. I also found it a bit juvenile, but it didnt bother me. Faith is young, so it kind of added to her character for me. Don't let one critical review stop you from reading this! I didn't read the reviews before I read the book, it surprised me with the path it took. I suggest you open this bok with an open mind and you'll enjoy it. Sorry for the short review, just had surgery on the hand. :)

This book is definitely a MUST READ! It's the classic idea of "good vs. evil" with a whole new twist, and the author did a great job in really dragging you into it and keeping you there through the end!

I'll admit that I'm the wife of the author, but don't let that take away from this review. It really just means that I got to read the book before anyone else, but I'm a pretty picky reader. I have no qualms about stopping partway into a book just because I don't like it, and I wouldn't suffer a bad book even for my husband.

Gospel of the Font has it's faults, sure. The secondary characters have a tendency to not be fleshed out enough, for example. But the overall message of the book and the basics of the story are kind of amazing. The writing does tend toward a younger bent, but since this is first person POV and the main character is a fairly young woman, I didn't find that off-putting in the slightest. In fact, it made it seem a little more real to me. Once I got started with reading, I felt compelled to read more. I read it all in one sitting, and how many books make people do that?

I want to find a book I've read to compare this to, but it's such a different story that I can't really find anything. It's a supernatural thriller about religion and the ending, which makes perfect sense to the story, will really surprise you no matter where you personally stand on religion.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I purchased this book, but I must say the storyline is compelling, the characters are well developed and you feel what they're feeling. If you're questioning whether or not to get this book, don't question it, just buy it.

More About the Author

"People always ask me how I come up with my stories. I just tell them that it's a matter of having A.D.D and putting it to good use."--Joe Naff

If Joe were to be described in one word, it would be... well... weird. Joe's an outspoken and easily excitable person with a big heart and the attention span of a squirrel let loose in a rave. Joe is far from what anyone would consider normal, but that's what makes his work so unique and fun. His works mostly involve fantasy, occasionally slipping into other genres, but one thing always remains solid in everything he does: strong and independent women. As a die-hard feminist, Joe enjoys creating female protagonists that can be positive role models for young girls. As an active supporter of LGBT rights, he incorporates gay and lesbian struggles into his storylines while also playing with traditional gender roles. If you're looking for a young, strong prince that saves the damsel in distress, you've come to the wrong place. However, if you'd like to see a damsel that can rescue herself (and maybe even the prince, too), then Joe's books are definitely for you.
