Sure, The Revere rocks it out -- the album is a wonderful rock record, full of fantastic prog-ish moments. What really sets this album above the rest for me is the concept -- if you listen to the lyrics, they are telling a compelling story. Think Lord of the Rings or the Wizard of Oz -- a fantasy quest, tales of travelers seeking illumination, driven by dreams. It's enough to grab you and not let go. Highly recommended.

I jumped on this record during the promotion and got it for free, and I'm impressed. If you are into modern progressive rock, you won't be disappointed. If I had seen this band live, I would have almost definitely shelled out $10-15 to buy it. I can see The Great City making my regular music rotation.

I downloaded this in February but did not listen to it until recently. Now I can't get enough of it; I appreciate it more each time I hear it. These guys rock and will become famous one day! Thanks Amazon:)

This is a really cool record. Not the kind of thing I would normally listen to but so glad I downloaded it (and for free, really!!). Reminds me of the great age of the album when artists had a concept start to finish - so unlike most of the stuff today which is usually one or two "hit" songs and a bunch of filler. Check it out and make sure to really listen to the lyrics and go on the journey with these guys, you'll be glad you did.

Rarely I like a rock CD, but this one immediately appeals to me, from the 1st selection up to the last. I downloaded the CD free of charge, and on hearing the songs I thought of the golden rock era of Kiss, AC/DC, Scorpions, etc. On checking, I found out that this is a recently-released CD. I must say that my daughter collects lots of rock CDs and heard them all. Yet, this free CD I consider the best among the current crop of rock CDs that I heard so far (btw, why most rock CDs sound alike nowadays?). If this CD is no longer free, buy it if you like melodious rock melodies. This rock group is great and deserves success.

On a whim, I downloaded the album and listened to it a couple of times. Each time, I listened to the lyrics a little bit more and realized that all the songs linked into a story. After a little research, I found that not only did the band release this whole album on Amazon for free(!!!), but also released a companion story to go with it. So far, it's an excellent story, and the second half will be released with the second album. Their music is amazing, but their lyrics is what brings this album to an even greater magnitude! On their website, they have a book that they wrote that leads in with the songs. You have to read it to understand the entire magic at work with this phenomenal album! [...]

I love exploring new music, but like many of us, I don't have the money to shell out 10-15 bucks when I want to pick up some new stuff. I downloaded this album for free and was so impressed!! These guys have a great sound and really compelling lyrics. I love how the album centers around a story. This is the kind of music that will make its way into my "go to" playlist. Thanks!
