I enjoy reading a book like this a year after it came out as you can see what's happened after print and if we're still on the same path.

I normally live my life by my 5 "G's"..... Gold, Guns, Grub, Ground and God. They have gotten me through my life feeling very safe and protected. After I read Craig and Lowell's book I have another "G" that I will count on. "Great Withdrawal" Your book has shown me how the United States has let Progressive thinking manifest into this economic mess and even suggests ways to protect myself and my family. This is one of the most important books I have ever read. Tom and JanetLynne S.

"I received your fascinating book yesterday and have not been able
to set it down. I have read much of the history of the Progressives and now, at 94
years of age, I have lived to witness the fruits of that system.

"I have read much of the history of Progressives including Teddy Roosevelt and
Woodrow Wilson, did not like it then, and I don't like it now. Now I find myself
in a country in which God only knows how it will end.

"From what I have read of your book, it seems like you have a good knowledge
of what Progressives are all about. From where I set, it looks like this Once
Great Country will have a very difficult next 50 years. I don't believe I have
that much time left. We have had 3 & 1/2 generations without American History
being taught in our schools, that is not a good base to build on."

-MAURICE C.

P.S. Keep up the Good Work.

"Craig Smith and Lowell Ponte have done it again! The Great Withdrawal is another
book of slashing insight, cutting through the kudzu of Progressive thought control
to reveal the oldest truth: Freedom works."
-ROGER HEDGECOCK, Host, Roger Hedgecock Show

"Feel like your pockets have holes in them? In 520 B.C. the prophet Haggai provided
the first 'inflation' definition on record: "Your wages disappear as though you put
them in pockets filled with holes." In The Great Withdrawal Craig and Lowell
teach us how to stitch up our financial holes - before it's too late!"
-RAY LUCIA, Host, Ray Lucia Show

"News Flash: We never left the 2008 Great Recession. The American economy is already devastated by debt bigger than our $16 Trillion annual national income!

Do you think that, like Detroit, the US is in trouble because we have too much debt, that we are going to get out of our troubles by increasing our debt -- by trillions of dollars? Read this book. Then think again.

It is very clear. Well written.

because this book spends quite a few pages discussing the wonderment that is Detroit. But as we read on P.45, "Detroit is the first major American city in the 21st Century to declare bankruptcy, but it almost certainly will not be the last." So this book isn't just about Detroit, as we read on P.55, "Thanks to the Food Stamp program, today's soup line is invisible - yet it is the largest and longest in American history. "... if [the people using benefit cards] stood only two feet apart, would make a depression soup line more than 17,500 miles long, a line that would stretch more than 70 percent of the way around Planet Earth." Where things start to get really scary is when the authors take to speculating about the bank account confiscation fiasco of Cypress and other similar situations. From P.169, "... President Barack Obama's Administration is considering ways to confiscate the more than $18.5 Trillion of savings in American retirement accounts - 401(K)s, IRAs and pensions - by replacing them with less valuable government debt obligations used to create 'annuities,' a confiscation similar to what the government of Argentina in 2008 did to private pension holders." Ultimately, the US can not sustain its current level of entitlement spending and debt expansion. It is not exactly clear what the kitchen is going to look like when the kettle blows, but a lot of the chunks won't be pretty. Just for chuckles, ask yourself what your neighborhood (and neighborhoods near you) will start to look like when the government can not keep up with its entitlement payments to those "47% people" who weren't going to vote for Romney.

A very concise and easy to read account, introducing many Americans to the formally unreported and unrecognized Progressive movement.

I've known the Progressive Movement in this country was destructive, but, had no idea just how bad it really is. This was a real eye opener for me. I highly recommend this to anyone who is just not sure what is really wrong with America. People need to educate themselves so they can make informed choices at the ballot box. I think after you read this book you will fully understand just how crucial it is for Progressives to be utterly and completely defeated so we can take our country back.

Very interesting book. Plenty of info on world events, most in my lifetime, which has put us where we are now. I enjoy reading a book like this a year after it came out as you can see what's happened after print and if we're still on the same path. Unfortunatly, it's gotten worse.
