I did not read the description good enought so I did not catch the fact that this was in Janpanese. So I don't know what is happening.

Anyone who has watched Ultraman will love this series. Created by the same mind behind Ultraman, it's the sequel/spin-off series to that series and actually has a more in-depth story, dealing with things such as racial-injustice, actions having consequences, etc. While Ultraman was more of a "Monster-of-the-Week" kind of thing, in that it just dealt with Ultraman fighting monsters for the sake of...fighting monsters, Ultra Seven takes a more serious, sometimes just down-right dark, perspective. Like one episode has an alien who plans on using child-soldiers to take over the Earth, knowing that the adults would never fire on their own offspring! How freaking diabolical is that?! Of course, you have the standard "Kyodai Hero" formula, in that Ultra Seven is able to alter his size to that of a giant's to handle the giant monsters(usually the invading aliens' secret weapon), but there are also some episodes where Ultra Seven doesn't change his size at all. In fact, there's even one episode where he shrinks himself to enter a body to fight off an alien creature. Now before I wrap this up, I wanna make clear that this is NOT the TNT dubbed version, and thank God it isn't. I have the bootlegged version of the series I got from the Internet, and compared to this version, the dubbed version is absolute crap! The lines the voice-actor spout are head-scratching at best, and banging-your-head-against-something-hard-and-heavy at worst. Trust me, you're better off with the subs here

I'm thrilled that Shout Factory released such a fun, entertaining series. It's wonderful western audiences finally get to see a series that many of us waited almost fifty years. Great stuff.
