This is a story I read back when it was first published. I enjoyed the story, which I have never forgotten.
I recall how the plotline really draws you in and I found the stroy remained in my mind years after my first readiing.
I decided to buy this book again as had long since lost my original copy, and the one I received happened to be a first edition print too.
The supernatural back-drop and the likeable characters, carry you into there world seamlessly and I would highly recommend this book, despite the fact it is now quite hard to come by, but with the wonders of the internet, I can enjoy this wonderfull story all over again!

I first read this in the early Eighties and found it to be a fascinating study of group psychology. It seems "psychic questing" is a lot of fun for those who make their living writing about it, even when it later turns out to be less funny for others involved (see The Eye of Fire). Readers might want to check out the Article Request (psychic questing) forum on the website mysteriousbritain.co.uk for relevant information.
