About the Author

Craig Gaydas' creative gene spawned at a very young age when he used to play table top games as a "dungeon master"-a creator of worlds. His love for character creation and growth spanned several years and led to short story writing for characters created within online game environments. While he currently fends off manufacturing issues within the supply chain industry he still manages to set time aside to bring characters to life. He loves to entertain, and uses the world of writing as his creative outlet. His debut novel, The Guardian Chronicles was published on March of 2013 and followed not long after by Vendetta.

More About the Author

Even though I began my journey of writing at a late age, my desire to build worlds and create characters started at a very young age. 10 to be exact. I enjoyed world building games such as Dungeons and Dragons as well as immersing myself into superhero back stories via the "Marvel Universe" compendiums. I signed on with independent publishing house Creativia in early 2014 and haven't looked back.

I loved the Guardian Chronicles. The mix between Greek Mythology and the "real" world was very intriguing and created a storyline that was very difficult for me to walk away from. Gabriel was a "mild mannered" private investigator and then his world was turned upside down because he was destined for something different. Not a choice - simply his destiny. That is a very hard pill to swallow. I will be reading more by Craig Gaydas. I do think the book could use some editing of grammar and tense but that did not detract from the story in any way for me - it made it more realistic since people do not always speak with proper grammar. Great story.

What if the gods were real? A fun story around the never ending battle between gods and titans with the involvement of mortals.

I was interested in the story, but the writing style was very jumpy and hard to follow. Inconsistencies in verb tense and inability to use the correct your/you're and there/their was distracting. The storyline had too many convenient jumps to make it work, and often seemed like the author made something happen just because he could. The main character and his love interest were suddenly "in love" and she was far too accepting of something that most people would never be able to believe.

It's a good premise, and could be a good story with editing and more attention to a credible story.
