Read this if you enjoy epic fantasy fiction!,

The story is roughly 220 kindle pages; yet, the reading flies by quickly with the style and pace. As the story progresses - two main plot lines are developed with a sister and brother. I appreciated the strong female lead in Aspenil. For those requiring romance, there is a bit with a couple characters. I won't say who is involved or if it works out. Some original creatures were interesting-and I wonder if the verdan people are really elves of some type. There is good humor with the young dwarf, Truin. You'll get a chuckle out of him and his spoon. You will see.

The book was all right, found it to be dry at times and ripping off other books at points. But originality is so hard when all you have to work with is your imagination. However the book had its moments. hope he has better luck with his future endeavors.

Eber has produced a fantasy novel worthy of standing up and taking notice. The world he creates, the Realm, is as interesting and full of possibilities as any fantasy work. The plot flows right along and makes it easy to get to know the characters. When you read a novel and care about what is going to happen to each and every character, that is the sign of a good book, and that happens in The Hallows.

My favorite character was probably Truin. He was a hoot as he was so annoying and childish. The character that was fun to hate was Renault. He was conniving and deceitful and down-right evil. I won't say if justice was served; I don't want to spoil any of the plot. I like that the story builds as it goes along and that in Brook Bastion it all goes haywire.

Hello, if you enjoy realms of fantasy, "The Hallows" should be on your list of books to read. Aspenil provides a strong female role as one of the main characters. Kolm, her brother, is the other main character, and he is carefree almost to the point of being reckless. Silvani might be Kolm's only salvation as he falls in love with her almost immediately. Aspenil's path veers from that of her brother, and she must discover her power within.
