Just as some other reviewers said, this is not some magical technique like people seem to think it is. The instructions for calming a baby contained here can be written in one paragraph, and it's all common sense stuff like, "swaddle the baby," "shush the baby," "give the baby a pacifier," "rock the baby." Come on! What parent hasn't tried these things already? As I was watching the DVD my "commercialized quack bulls*** detector" was going off big time. Don't waste your money.

This is helpful but don't rent the movie! Waste of money and time. Just look on Pinterest and you'll get the basics.

I feel like this movie was somewhat useful but completely overrated. Have not recommended anyone this far to buy it.

The only method that worked to soothe my daughter was being held against my chest and bounced while walking around. But this had to be done continuously. If stopped at all, she would scream-cry until she turned purple and stopped breathing. It wasn't as simple as the 5 S's and just gently laying her down to sleep peacefully. She hated the swing, hated the car seat, hated every single type of pacifier we tried. Stomach sleeping helped when we eventually tried it at 5.5 weeks, but other than that we had to hold and bounce continuously. Eventually we did cry it out. Before my daughter was born we felt confident, armed with these techniques. Once she was here, we felt very angry and mislead by how quickly and easily the babies in the DVD were soothed. For most normal babies, these techniques probably do work very well. But for my daughter, on the extreme end of the fussiness/colic spectrum, this was useless.

DVD sold by Knowbodybeatsdawiz will not play in a DVD player. I question the integrity of the DVD, it seems like a homemade copy as opposed to an original.

Don't spend your money on this movie, all the same ideas can be found for free online. The movie focuses on 0-3 month babies.

There is no magic to any of it. When dealing with a baby you're dealing with random chaos. This guy is a jackwagon making tons of money on some things that are common sense, and other things that are questionable. Do not buy the dvd or the book. The dvd is like home video and basically useless. Use your common sense and consult your pediatrician. And there is plenty of information online for free that is more useful than this.
