This book is an amazing tool. Not only is it broken up into practical action steps, but Kristen has a way of sharing the information that keeps you engaged. One of the things that I haven't always liked about other self-help books is that the steps they want you to take are so involved that it ends up adding, instead of reducing stress. That is not the case with this book. It's also effective at addressing stress at whatever level, or extremity, you might be feeling it.

This no nonsense and user-friendly book stands up to what it promises. The Happy Hour Effect is the perfect balance of fun and solid advice on how to limit the inevitable stress in our lives. Kristen uses her own personal triumphs and tragedies to lay out the perfect recipe for happiness. By the end, not only do we get to know Kristen, we get to know a little more about ourselves.
