The beginnig was a bit confusing. I didn't really know what was going on but after a few pages it comes to light. Set in the time where Duke's and Royalty take precidence over love when it comes to marriage, a woman choses to protect the small, premature child born to her from her husband who disowns his own blood. Things take a turn for the better but only temporarily.
