I use it for treating some ongoing problems - and also acute like colds or loss of energy.

The diagrams and descriptions are easy to understand and follow, which makes it a very practical book for self-healing.

Best book on accupressure out there because it shows ALL of the accupresure points in the total body.

This is a very comprehensive book on acupressure. The diagrams and descriptions are easy to understand and follow, which makes it a very practical book for self-healing. This book is a life-saver for me as it has certainly helped me healed a lot of my chronic ailments over the years. It has also thought me a lot about the significance of acupressure points in the body, how it works, the healing benefits, etc. This book is easy to use as a reference on a daily basis any time you need it, and especially when you experience pain, you can treat yourself and relieve the pain on the spot. The Healing Benefits of Acupressure is definitely a worth while investment and a must have for those who use self-healing methods/alternative treatments like myself...it is like acupuncture without the needles and added cost. Too bad it is out of print and I sure hope more of such books will be available in the near future.

We've used this book for years, when we had a problem... and always found the suggested points helpful. The book is simple compared to many accupressure books and thus easy to use. Recommend getting yourself a copy. My recent purchase was to give to my son and his new wife, so they could help themselves, too.

This is an amazing self-help book, giving QUICK accurate acupressure points for a WIDE variety of symptoms/issues. I love it and have often given it to family/friends as a gift. They love it and are also amazed! Thanks, Dr. Houston!!

This book I'm sure doesn't cover all acupressure points, but it is very helpful for most people. It is easy to use and to find what it is that you are looking for. It doesn't explain a lot of information about acupressure points.
I think it is a useful for most people, especially if you don't want to spend time reading and just want to look up the points and see what they are attached to.

I have several of Michael Reed Gach's books too, which are all excellent. But you could not improve for this book's clarity and simplicity for anyone just starting to learn of this. The easily found stomach points in this are priceless and more effective than drug-type remedies. It says a lot about the health care "system" that things like this are NOT routine.

With the simple touch of a finger, or a thumb, pain and some of life's everyday problems and miseries can be relieved through the very simple process of Acupressure. This book is very easy to use and understand. The self-help folks will find a treasure trove of knowledge waiting to be discovered in this rather marvelous book, with just a touch.................
