Christians will love what Venus has to say. I appreciate all she went through and like Venus I am a big advocate for Teresa Tapp's exercise/ lymph clearing workouts but for those who aren't Christian this book might be a bit hard to swallow.

This book was such a delight to read. It speaks truth from a place of God centered blind faith. I am so glad to see there are people willing to share their testimony (the good, the bad, and the ugly) with others to show there are other forms of healing that those presented in the dark medical world. The medical business is just that...a business. it is designed to make profits and keep people sick and insurance companies profitable. It is time for people to put their faith into action and let God restore and heal His creations. I applaud Venus for having the courage to take a stand and write such a great book. I'm hopeful this book will inspire others to seek out alternative solutions to their health when faced with a cancer diagnosis or any other illness.

This personal story about a very personal journey was touching and informative. It was truely worth the easy read. One of those books I could not put down after I started reading. Venus' style makes us a part of her inner circle during this very private time. I recommend it to anyone who is or will be faced with difficult choices. Her choice of cancer and God are good ones but can be applied to many difficult times in our lives. Venus, thank you for making us a part of your journey.

I have met Venus - and she is a loud, boisterous, full of life, BIGGER than life person. I've heard her speak. She could be a regular stand up comic, she shares things with such humor! I knew part of her story. I was looking forward to this book. We have walked similar paths, and yet, I didn't expect this book to touch me as deeply, nor did I expect it to make changes in my mental position so quickly. The book is not written from some uber-scholarly position, it is written as if she is sitting in your dining room, over a cup of paulo d'arco tea, and just sharing her journey. This book is for everyone that has breasts...everyone that has health issues...everyone that has fear strike them when they hear the word Cancer. I am buying copies for Christmas - for my friends and family that have breasts...that have any type of health issues...or that just want to have life, and live it to the fullest. Venus LIVES LOUD - and her faith shines through against the giant of fear. Grab a cup of tea, sit down, and have a little chat with Venus, and your view of cancer will change, your view of tackling medical issues will change, and, I dare say, your life will change.

This was definitely a different perspective on breast cancer. It was an amazing look at the journey of such a strong woman and her experiences. It's so amazing what faith, determination, and what going back to the all natural can bring to our lives; that's why I've shared it with one of my sorority sisters.

I really loved Venus' refreshing honesty and candor. It is getting harder and harder to get straight answers from the medical establishments and Venus has no problem telling it like it is. I love that! I love that she shares what people need to hear but she also shares what people might not want to hear.

I love how she sheds light onto the big money making machine the cancer industry has become today. Not very many people realize this and in her book, she brings that issue to be examined.

Thank you Venus for your encouragement, authenticity, and information you have given to the world in sharing your un-edited story (pun intended but still loved it)!
