The Healthy Portion Plate is a great idea. It has the appropriate sized portions marked out on the plate for healthy servings. The rim of the plate is large to keep the food space smaller, while not looking like a tiny plate. All of this is great.
The problem: this plate is not microwavable.
If I was always cooking a fresh meal, this would be fine as I could serve the appropriate amount on my plate. However, given that I cook a large meal on Sunday and space it out over a few days, this plate isn't very functional. I can't put the food on this plate and then reheat it in the microwave.
The quality of the plate is good and the rim sizing makes it look normal while keeping portion size in control (which is why I give it 2/5 stars). This plate its not good for reheating, which is why I'd not recommend this plate (unless reheating isn't one of your needs).
I really like these plates because they help me portion my meals without feeling like I over ate. I haven't lost any weight yet but I find it that I'm eating less and no stuffing myself with lots of meat and starches.
