For only being 16 years old Danielle Bradbery has the sound of a seasoned performer at such a young age. This young lady was born to sing and has already melted the hearts of millions including myself. Her distinctive sound and feeling comes through again in 'The Heart Of Dixie'.

Just got done listening to this song and my reaction was WOW! Danielle has a truly amazing voice for only 16. I knew I had to get this song after hearing her perform with Hunter Hayes. Just listening to the preview was enough for me to buy the song and I usually do not buy singles. Pure and fresh are the words that come to mind to describe her vocals. I am looking forward to the release of her first album.

Channeling such influences as The Dixie Chicks and Carrie Underwood, Danielle's debut single "The Heart of Dixie" is a sweet, uplifting tale of a woman caught between a dead-end job and a dismisive alcoholic husband. She finally comes to her senses and leaves it all behind her. Sure, thematically, the subject matter might be a bit heavy for someone that is only 16 years old, but she plays the narrator so convincingly that I didn't even notice the first 50 times I listened to the song. It officially hit number one, on the Country Itune Charts, seven hours after its midnight release. As of this writing it on sits number three on the overall ITunes chart. An amazing feat for a new artist debut. Especially during the summer when summer anthems, are being bought by the truckloads.

The song itself borrows heavily from Carrie's "Jesus Take the Wheel" and "Wasted" records; it's country-pop at its finest with very little shifted from the traditional side of things (although there is a presence throughout the track). As a mid-tempo offering, the song displays a rather hopeful message and taps into what Danielle does best. Her covers of Sara Evans' "Born to Fly" and Pam Tillis' "Maybe It Was Memphis" had similar go-to optimism and really showcased Danielle's naturally sunny disposition (as pointed out by Mjsbigblog writer Windmills). Perhaps, that's why I have no complaints with the young singer taking on such a "heavy" song. From a listener's perspective, it's more about the message of the upbeat chorus that becomes the focus and the takeaway of the tune.

Co-written by Brett James (Carrie's "Jesus Take the Wheel"), Caitlyn Smith, (Cassadee Pope's "Wasting All These Tears" and Troy Verges (Hunter Hayes' "Wanted"), Danielle is backed by some of the finest tunesmiths in Nashville.

This new song "The Heart of Dixie" is beyond all expectations.. The first time you hear it you can tell it is 100 % Danielle...I'm not even sure this grounded, little teenager has any idea what a huge star she has become. The more I play this song the more I like it...can't wait for an album. My advice..Buy it :)

WOW! This young singer steps into some huge boots to pull off this pop/country masterpiece. A new voice now joins a very select few in the genre. I predict a very high charting 1st album with a stellar career to follow.

She could sing the phone book and I'd buy it. I pray for her safety and well being. Her fans would love her even if she didn't sing at all!
