If you like acoustic guitar music, you will enjoy the rich texture of this complex track. Antoine Dufour uses percussion techniques along with finger playing which creates a dynamic sound.

You can't help immediately comparing Antoine Dufour's guitar work to Michael Hedges', and I imagine he might tire of the comparison. But it's a supremely high compliment in my mind, and Mssr. Dufour has seemingly mastered all the nuance of Hedges' work. That in itself is a rare accomplishment, and this music is captivating for any fan of acoustic guitar reinterpreted as more than a stringed instrument.

It's my hope that Antoine will eventually show the same sort of inventiveness that made Michael's work so stunning and fresh. Carry the flame, so to speak. I fully expect it, and have seen few others that have the true ability. Meanwhile, this is a must-buy for anyone that enjoys virtuosic, percussive guitar work. Very striking, and thoroughly enjoyable again and again.
