They are well made.

These little hooks have turned out to be a great way to hang the humming bird feeder as well as Christmas lights, out of the seasonal rain.

It's a shame there is not a standard way of measuring these, cause everyone seems to want to use their own method. I knew going in that for the money and quantity, I must be getting small cup hooks, and I wasn't wrong. These are small, no way you could hang a cup on them. For my purposes though they will work fine. I have a lot of woodworking tools and stations with wooden stands and needed something to hang my glasses, mask, tape measures etc on when I'm working at a station. Since these things are just on little straps these will work fine.

Bottom line, use your head buying cup hooks, ignore the so called size ratings as everyone wants to measure a different way. These I believe are 7/8 from the tip of the cup to the top of the threads where it meets the wood. The dimension across the side of the hook is about 1/2", maybe a little less.

If you are wanting these for hanging coffee mugs, use a larger size. They will only fit the smallest, skinniest of mug handles. If you have lots of custom, artisan, or otherwise large coffee mugs. These will not work.Otherwise the hook quality was fine.

These hooks are of as good a quality as one could expect from hardware store, For the price of two or three of these you can have the whole box here,. These are not to be confused with the mug hooks which were to large for what I was doing., These are the ones that use to be every where.

These work great for my intended use, which is to support a string of lights underneath a pergola. They are well made. The 7/8" is the distance from the bottom outside edge of the hook to the flared ring that separates the threaded part of the shank from the nonthreaded part. I would estimate the hook opening to be about 1/4" and the inner diameter to be about 1/2". It would be much more useful if the National Association of Cup Hook Manufacturers would cite these two measurements which are much more useful. But until the NACHM comes into existence, anarchy shall reign in the cup hook world.

They look good! Hold up big flower baskets and made my house look good during our house warming. I shall never run out of hooks, but if I did... I would not hesitate to buy these again!

As advertised, easy to install, good for hanging mugs. Radius of curvature is a bit small for many mugs. I bent them to a slightly larger radius of curvature and they are better.
