Book Description

After the death of her father, Dana Morrison noticed that her mother’s house was becoming cluttered. First she saved grocery bags, then newspapers, and empty boxes. In no time flat, her house was filled with junk, junk, and more junk! Dana made the mistake of cleaning house, but that just made matters worse when her mother decided that her trash was more valuable to her than her daughter.

5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting story May 3, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I found this to be a very enjoyable book. I know what we went through cleaning out my grandparents attic, house and cellar and they weren't hoarders. To be a true hoarder is a sickness.

This was a short read that you can finish in one sitting.

3.0 out of 5 stars book March 18, 2013

It was awfully short -it seemed like there could have been more written but it was a good book. It was obviously painful for everyone involved but I would have liked to seen more written.

A daughter's love is tested when she tries to unclutter her mother's home. This was a good read that highlights the effect of hoarding on a family.

It was really interesting to find out some possible reasons as to why this behavior developed and its impact on the people associated with them

1.0 out of 5 stars not even worth 99¢ March 5, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The story is way too short and it makes it seem as if overcoming hoarding is easy only if rats become involved. I really wish that I had not of wasted 99 cents on this poorly written short story.
