Great Survival Guide For People Living In The City
Concise and easy to use guide without all the fear mongering and end of the world apocalypse stuff. Good solid advice for protecting your family. The checklists are complete and very useful. I carry a copy in my purse when I goto the store so I can check off items as I find them. The cost estimates are very helpful. The Home Survivalist's Handbook...

Home Survivalist's Handbook
Some good advice here but does not quite deliver on it's promise. The book could be half the size if they had used something other than 20-point type.

Concise and easy to use guide without all the fear mongering and end of the world apocalypse stuff. Good solid advice for protecting your family. The checklists are complete and very useful. The Home Survivalist's Handbook was written for everyday people facing real problems. It is not for those hard core militia types although they would probably find the information very helpful. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for cheap ways to protect their family.
