Product Description

Now you can have a vicious dog greet anyone who approaches your home when you are not there, scaring off would-be intruders, without the cost of dog food, vet bills, etc. A recording of a vicious German Shepard dog in attack mode begins to play- scarring away a would-be intruder. This alarm is very effective for home, office, factory or any place that needs the constant security of a guard dog. Please note that it will work on almost any type of wall (wood, cement, brick, stucco, etc.) but will not work on metal walls or walls with metal studs

Features

The Streetwise Electronic Watch Dog emits microwave signals so it can "see" through walls and detect someone approaching from up to 21 feet away
If the intruder continues to approach the house the barking will get louder and more frequent.
Unit can be set to chime or alarm instead of the dog bark
Powered with a 12 volt wall adapter (included), but you can also use 8 AA batteries (not included) for backup or for areas without a plug.
Comes with a wireless remote control to allow you to arm/ disarm the unit from a distance as well as sound a panic alarm in case of emergency.
Adjustable volume and detection range (up to 21 feet).

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money August 8, 2011

Barks like a sick dying dog and sometimes is beeping together with barking.

Returned the item to the seller as defective. They told me that the item worked as designed. Nonsense!

1.0 out of 5 stars don't buy this alarm November 15, 2010

$100+ for a sick dog bark. Better to spend the money on something effective. Totally unreliable as a motion detector or barking sick dog alarm.

The barking dog did not work. There was a defective sensor, and it did not chime. I was promised a replacement, but have received one. Do not buy this product or purchase from this seller. The seller and the product are unreliable. If I had known how inconvenient purchasing this item was going to be, I would not have bought it. The seller's customer service is terrible.

4.0 out of 5 stars Use daily June 30, 2013
By Scott
I got this about 7 or 8 months ago. It does sound like a real dog but not so much in the house as outside. It does read through the wall but to do the area you want, you really have to experiment with differently angles. I have mine at a 45 degree angle to the wall and that seems to work best. I like the way it is not a repetitious broken record. It is intermittent with varying barks. I don't even have to walk or feed it! Glad I found it

3.0 out of 5 stars Needs improvement September 29, 2013
I live in the typical Florida house, which is built of cinder block with a stucco finish, and it would appear that the walls are too thick for the sensor to penetrate it. I have tried all different angles, and heights, but it just won't go through those walls. I was able to get it to work by placing it infront of a window, however the range was still limited, and it becomes visible from outside.

Looking over the owner's manual I noticed that you can purchase optional wireless motion sensors, and/or door/window magnetic sensors to enhance its operation. Up to 16 wireless sensors can be used with this device, so I purchased 1 wireless motion sensor, and now it works like it should. I mounted the motion sensor on the exterior wall close to the front door, and now it starts to bark when someone is around 25 feet away from the entrance.

From inside the house the barking does have an electronic sound, which makes it sound fake, but from outside it sounds very much like a real dog. I think the manufacturer should have just included 2 motion sensors with this package to start off with, and it would have received far more favourable reviews.

1.0 out of 5 stars Pitiful March 18, 2014
Verified Purchase
I first thought it didn't work at all, but then it did make a noise when my hand was within 10 inches or less, .. waving. Of course that didn't really matter since the noise it made was very faint and sounded a little like a baby snoring, or coughing. It certainly would not have been audible a dozen feet away. Cost $12 to return and their refund came in 3 weeks. I bought myself a Dakota alarm. It doesn't bark, but it's reliable, sensitive to movement within an acceptable range and has 4 setting of alarms which are very loud. This"Electronic Watch Dog" is just sad and a waste of money.

You can switch from: Bark, Chime, and alarm. It has a Power on / off, volume adjusting button, Detect Range adjusting button (Microwave Sensor). Can use battery (8 AA) and has a ac adapter, an to include (1) Remote Control.

That's the name of this doggie robot, who sounds very fierce and barks at would be intruders. Fang's bark makes one think twice about whether or not his bite is worse.
