Editorial Reviews

Review

I won't give anything away, but you don't want to miss out on this series. I love it. I love the heartwarming message of God's grace and mercies are new each day. I love all the reminders Wanda tucks in each book.
(Tonya Speelman Dyeing to Live 2013-03-05)

Ms. Brunstetter knows how to craft an emotionally gripping story that grabs hold of your heart and doesn’t let it go. Her characters are easy to fall in love with and you just can’t help but feel like they are your own friends and family. Well done, Ms. Brunstetter! This is the third installment of The Discovery series and I highly recommend this one as well.
(Diana Coyle Night Owl Reviews 2013-05-10)

I have to admit, I’m fully entrenched in The Discovery series by Wanda Brunstetter. I feel like I know Meredith and Luke almost as well as my good friends. The writing flows and I’ve been sucked into this series.

Brunstetter weaves a compelling love story brilliantly mingled with an unexpected twist. More About the Author

Wanda Brunstetter is an award-winning romance novelist who has led millions of readers to lose their heart in the Amish life. She is the author of over 60 books with more than 7 million copies sold. Many of her books have landed on the top bestseller lists, including the New York Times, USA Today, Publisher's Weekly, CBA, ECPA, and CBD. Wanda is considered one of the founders of the Amish fiction genre, and her work has been covered by national publications, including Time Magazine and USA Today.

Wanda's fascination with the Amish culture developed when she met her husband, Richard, who grew up in a Mennonite church, and whose family has a Pennsylvania Dutch heritage. Meeting her new Mennonite sister-in-laws caused Wanda to yearn for the simpler life. In their travels, she and her husband have become close friends with many Amish people across America. Wanda's desire to explore their culture increased when she discovered that her great-great grandparents were part of the Anabaptist faith.

All of Wanda's novels are based on personal research intended to accurately portray the Amish way of life. Many of her books are well-read and trusted by the Amish, who credit her for giving readers a deeper understanding of the people and their customs.

Wanda's primary attraction to the Amish is their desire to live a devout Christian life that strives to honor God, work hard, and maintain close family ties. Whenever she visits her Amish friends, Wanda finds herself drawn to their peaceful lifestyle, sincerity, and close family ties, which is in stark contrast to the chaos and busyness that plagues so many modern "Englishers." Time and time again, Wanda loses her heart in the Amish life, and she hopes her readers will, too. For more information, visit: www.WandaBrunstetter.com

Not the cliff hanger ending that the first two books where but enough to keep the reader on the edge of their seat wondering how everything will finally turn out.

I could hardly wait to get the next book in the series so I could read that one too.

Very good story, but the books are too short. Just when you get into the story, you are at the end and have to wait another month to see what happens next. Like the regular length books better.

Once again the author kept the pages turning in this book. I was on pins and needles hoping Meredith would not lose her baby. I love how family and friends come together to help Meredith out. I am a bit worried about Jonah Miller I might add. Is he just a friend or is he hoping for more than just friendship?

Will Meredith be able to cope on her own? Will she be able to hang on to her house and land since money is so tight? I can't wait until Part 4, The Pieces of Summer, is published. Such an exciting Saga!

It is good but it was difficult to get the books out of sync. A more complete listing would have been nice.

When you read a Wanda Brunsetter book you can smell the soup in the kitchen and feel the cold wind on your face while in a buggy. This is a good story for those that like to wait for the next book in the series, if you don't like that then wait till the whole series is finished and buy all four.

2.5 stars material well written and organized, but ending seemed lame I guessed that in about the fourth chapter that Luke was probably the nurses Eddie! He probably was beaten up prior to the bus trip and left for dead and the untried someone in his grave! I like wanda brumstetter but this ending or part of the series left avoid in this story! It did not leave me wanting more!!! So the hope of spring part 3
Ending was like a beginning of a long winter day!!!!!! I have about 10 copies of her books and this one will not stop me from reading her books, but I will definitely checks the reviews be fore I start another one!!!
