This book is great to keep you motivated. In a light hearted way it helps you see why you have been failing to keeping to your goal of losing weight. Some of the suggestions I have already been using and it works for me. one key for me is breaking the exercise into smaller pieces. For my self I insure I get a hour of walking each work day 20 minutes before work, 20 minute walk before eating lunch and 20 minutes as I leave the office. The 20 minute before and after work is just getting off public transportation earlier. The recap in the last few pages would make a great poster.In fact I am going to make one and hang it on my bedroom door.

Bridget nailed it with this book. I absolutely agree with her attitude of losing weight and staying healthy. Dieting is not the solution for a healthy lifestyle. A healthy attitude and a new way of eating for life is the key. Well done! I recommended this book to several of my friends and my mom!

Thoughts and mind sets control our weight more then the food we eat. The author has done a good job of detecting the things that sabotage weight loss and lower our self esteem and highlighting the things that motivate us to be our best. Enjoyable and enlightening.

This book has great advice for everyone who has ever tried to lose weight or thought about trying to. I think teens would greatly benefit from this.

For a great entertaining read with lots of hidden reminders to do it RIGHT - get this book! This was so much fun to read and I could visualize every example and story. She has the diet mentality really pegged and how to break out of the yo-yo. Great for teens to retirees.

While the book was an entertaining read, after I'd finished it I realised that I should have read the book description more thoroughly because very little of the author's insights applied to me. I'm a senior citizen and after avoiding sport and exercise from an early age, am only now trying to develop sensible exercise habits. From a personal level, I would have given the book two stars, but when I re-read the description I found it was my own fault for not checking the content properly. Very helpful for some, but not at all for people like me.
