Book is outstanding. Very detailed information coming from New York City's legendary radio personality, community activist and entrepreneur. Hal Jackson starts from his beginnings in Charleston, South Carolina, his childhood and young adulthood when he broke color barriers in radio in Washington D.C. and his superstar staus skyrocketing success in New York City as a DJ for WBLS. He expresses these stages of his life very wonderfully. Intriguing and interesting reading.
