About the Author

Rachael Yunis is a geneticist and director of Apologia Science. She holds advanced degrees in molecular genetics/developmental biology and biomedical ethics and serves on a hospital ethics committee. Rachael has homeschooled her three sons since 1998. Her husband, Sam, has a PhD and works at NASA. The Yunis family lives in Virginia.

Marilyn McCusker Shannon and her husband, Ron, are the homeschooling parents of nine children. Marilyn holds a Master's in human physiology from Indiana University s Medical Sciences Program. Since 1983, she has taught human anatomy and physiology at the college level. She is also the author of Fertility, Cycles and Nutrition, now in its third edition.

Format: Textbook Binding Verified Purchase
I love the redesign and updated pictures. Same great quality textbook. Coupled with Apologia Biology this makes a great Advanced Study of the human body. It assumes that you know the information in the Biology book.

I am physician and use the book to teach a class of high school students. I find the book well written with great photos and illustrations.
