5.0 out of 5 stars Stunningly Beautiful June 20, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This collection of stories has delightfully macabre overtones but is still approached with an elegant and light manner, making each tale unique and enjoyable. Very excited for future Dibb adventures.

5.0 out of 5 stars Horror lovers, you MUST read this. June 19, 2012

I'm not the largest fan of "collections" -- but I have to say, this collection of short stories was a pleasing surprise. I had previously read another novella by the author, called "The Six," and I liked the dark tone of that story, which is what I was hoping for with The Immortal Jellyfish -- and I got what I was hoping for. The zombie story at the end (which is a preview for an upcoming novel) was my absolute favorite. Zombies may be a little overdone right now, but the way the author approached zombies was different than what I was expecting, and I literally cannot wait for the novel to come out!

Overall, GREAT collection of short stories. It gives a real sense of what I can expect in the future, and it's something awesome.

2.0 out of 5 stars Simply not worth reading. August 14, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This book tries to be deep by talking about death, but many of the stories are half baked and could not draw my interest enough to bother finishing it. The only thing this book succeeded in was being pretentious.
