More About the Author

Marilyn Zelinsky-Syarto (1961-) was born in Norwich, CT. She attended The Fashion Institute of Technology studying interior design and advertising, and New York University where she graduated with a degree in Journalism. Marilyn combined her two loves by working as an editor for shelter publications, including Interiors Magazine, where she was senior product editor, and Home Office Computing Magazine, where she was senior editor, as well. Her first book, "New Workplaces for New Workstyles," was one of the first books profiling the growing telecommuting and work-from-home movement, followed by more books about inspirational workplaces. She has also worked as a book editor and photo editor on a number of successful design books. Today, Marilyn lives in Fairfield, CT with her husband and two children, and writes for Two Frugal Fairfielders, a local blog. She is currently writing a series of non-fiction Kindle ebooks about frugal living and frugal microbusinesses to launch in 2013.
