This is a remarkable book, What David Brennan does is look at the land of Israel from a Biblical perspective and who's land it is. He shows that the LORD YHVH gave the land to the Jewish people, and predicted that they would be apart from there land for a long time (maybe even predicting the date of their return). He shows how bible prophecy has been fulfilled in these modern times with the return of the Jew's to Israel. And that this is their land the promised land. Than what Brennan does is show that anyone, who tries, to stand in front of God's Promise, to the Jews, such as the USA pushing for Israel to give up land for peace, leads to a series of weird disasters -coincidences? Or are they coincidences; They may be God Judgement, on those who are standing in the way of the Jew's right to the Holy Land. That is the case that Brennan lay's out and he does a convincing job showing the events (conference etc.,), the disasters and the biblical evidences to back it all up. Let me give one example. On January, of 1994 President Clinton meets Syrian President Assad, they discuss the return of the Golan Heights from Israel. The following day Israeli Prime Minister Rabin warns the public to be prepared to return the Golan Heights. than the highest ever recorded earthquake in an urban area, strikes the U.S., causing the second most costly destruction caused by a natural disaster in U.S. history. I knew of theories such as this, but I did not know how closely tied to an event the natural disaster's are: And we are not talking about run of the mill disasters, but ones that are historic, such as Katrina, the great flood of texas and the perfect storm. You have got to read this and decide for yourself if this event's were coincidences or the judgement of the LORD!!!!!!!

I was not going to read this book after receiving it as a gift because too many religious books deal with the Apocalypse and what will happen in the future based on wild, subjective interpretations of biblical verse. While thumbing through the pages I found this to be, in my opinion, fact-based and well-researched. The parallels between natural and man-made disasters and events surrounding the ongoing negotiations with Israel are quite fascinating. Turned out to be a very interesting read.

This book is an excellent read. It is well-documented, which the other reviewer mentions.

I think Brennan is bringing into view a whole new perspective on Middle Eastern policy, and tying it to end times eschatology in the way that he does makes the whole book staggering in its implications.

Absolutely thought-provoking and soul-searching.

I highly recommend it.

This book explains how God is telling us that he does not approve of the plan to take the land that he gave to Israel away from them.
The warnings began under Bush I, with the Perfect Storm that threw half of his Kennebunkport house into the ocean. The author connects all the humongous natural disasters to groups efforts to take land from Israel to form a Palestinian state. God still uses nature to tell the people of the world not to mess with Israel. I wonder what Obama is going to say this week in Indonesia as God has wreaked havoc on that nation with an Earthquake, a tsunammi and several volcano eruptions? There is a plan to force them to give land to the Palestinians..
This book connects God's signs to man's actions to work against his plan for his chosen people. It is a very good book that I highly recommend be read so you can explain that God is working at this time to speak to us.

This book ties together the relation between how we treat Israel and the disasters that befall us as nations.
After reading this, you will have a greater understanding of why we suffer and that God meant it when He said He raises up kings and He takes them down.
These disasters have happened directly in relation to how leaders of nations have pressured Israel to give away the land the Lord gave to them.

The Israel Omen is a well-written book that documents the correlation between the nation's treatment of the modern nation of Israel, to the severe weather judgments that we are seeing in the headlines of our daily newspapers.

The book begins with a brief reminder of the cataclysmic judgments on Egypt. The leader of Egypt did not make the association between his treatment of the Hebrews and the judgments that were coming upon his nation until Egypt was almost destroyed.

So, today's current national leaders are not making the connection. As our national leaders make their mid-east policy decisions which negatively impact Israel, we the citizens of those nations, are receiving the brunt of GOD's judgment.

Whether they are Democrat or Republican, each time one of our Presidents acts in a manner that tries to force Israel to give up the land GOD promised them, we their people become victims of GOD's judgments. Prophecies made thousands of years ago... are being fulfilled today!

I was very impressed with David Brennan's research and subsequent book. I have not heard this from anyone else, but am very aware now to look at weather change in the United States in a new light. David could also follow this book with another highlighting the intensity of the tornadic activity in the Midwest and Southern states and the fact that Obama changed his mideast policy a mere 3 days before this horrible weather that nearly wiped out Joplin, Missouri.
