This book is like Olive Garden in your house. It has recipes of all Italian favorites - pizza, pasta, Panini, and risotto. Also, there are recipes of tomato sauces that I will definitely try cooking.
I had no idea about different kinds of olive oils until I read this book.
The book says that Italian cooking is pretty easy and that’s true. But it requires some uncommon and sometimes pricy ingredients. This is what stops me from really getting into cooking from this book.
So, if you are not quite familiar with all Italian ingredients and don’t spend much on groceries then you need something simpler. But if you are really serious about switching to Italian cuisine – then this cookbook is for you.

Being someone new to cooking, I found this cookbook an appropriate fit. It is for beginners but it covers the gamete of Italian cooking including Pizza, Panini, all kinds of pasta including, of course, some Spaghetti dishes, and much more. A cookbook of classic, traditional Italian recipes for beginners, it is by no means without lots of interesting details, including a history of Italian food and how to eat it. An easy read, it doesn't presume a lot of knowledge about cooking Italian. For any beginner the more than 100 recipes detailed here are plenty to choose from as one begins a cooking adventure into the land of Italian cuisine.

The Italian cookbook for Beginners is delightful, this book is truly a step by step easy to understand the way to cook Italian.
It has a nice introduction explaining the way Italians eat, how to separate the different course, as many as seven! It breaks down the olive oils, salads, meats, pastas everything you would need to make a full Italian meal.
The book also give the terminology you can use to better understand what you are buying and what you are eating.
Each page takes you step by step giving menu options and setting up the menu by courses. This is then followed by easy to understand recipes s. So if you want to make the antipasti there is the recipe and what you will need right there. NO need to go all the way to the back of the book.
This book is easy to understand, easy to follow and has a tremendous amount of recipes for your eating pleasure.

The Italian Cookbook for Beginners is a well-organized and good introduction to Italian cooking. While I am not a native Italian and cannot attest to the authenticity of the cooking, I did find the various definitions of different kinds of cured meats, cheeses, and olives useful for shopping and inspiring other dishes. The capellini with fresh tomatoes, garlic and basil was really delicious and I’m looking forward to trying some of the other recipes. The mussels look quite promising!
