I first saw this book in a bookstore in K.C. in 1973 or 1974. The book called "The Joy of Sex" had been published and making the news and tabloids. I was a teenager and had been baby sitting for a doctor's family. He had the book and being a curious teenager, I looked at the pictures. I had never even kissed a boy at this time, so was pretty green in this area of life. After looking at the pictures in the book, I couldn't believe how complicated the positions looked. I had heard that sex was suppose to be fun and relaxing! I thought to myself, this is a lot of hard work! Then 2 days later, I was shopping at a mall and walked by a bookstore. There on a display table was the book "National Lampoon's The Job of Sex". I looked at the book and could not stop laughing, because they had the same opinion of the book "The Joy of Sex". The illustrations are hysterical, and it's just plain funny! There are naked people wearing hats though! It may bother certain people to see the pictures. But it is a great belly laugh for those with a tongue in cheek sense of humor!

I was glad to find a copy of this book so long after its original publication. It is an excellent parody of the more serious book, The Joy of Sex.
