The book is over 1,000 pages long and every one of them is full of interest and excitement.
Aside from that though, as much as I enjoyed his excellent descriptions in his other works, there are just too many in this one.
The period in which the story takes place is fascinating, and the harsh reality of the described situations is enthralling!
