I had owned several businesses over the past 18 years, some marginally successful, some failed. Decided I'd do better in Corporate America and ended up fired from 2 jobs. I Read Wayne's Book twice while starting my new business. In it are all the key ingredients for success. Many other books seem to contain only a few ingredients, while "The Joy of Failure" has them all. I used each and every one of those ingrediates... I now earn over six figures, have more time to do what I want and enjoy life. There is no rocket science or majic here. A lot of basics, but packaged and delived in a way to realize success. His methods worked for me. If you've ever been rejected, beat up, knocked down, told you can't do something, scared to death that you might fail again... get up and read this book!

Wayne Root writes of "how to turn lemons into lemonade" in his encaptivating book. He uses many parables and short stories of his life as well as the lives of many famous and not-so-famous people. The book has given me the courage to pursue my dream of operating a home-based advertising/graphic design business, ADVISIONS. Now in my second year, I am able to spend more time with my family, and more time doing the things I enjoy. I owe so much to Wayne's message and recommend this book's program to all of you. I listen to the tapes not only when I'm feeling challenged, but also when I am motivated and on a roll. Life is full of so many negatives, you need to keep plugging in the positives. I bought the tapes for ease of use during long commutes and repeated motivation. Please feel free to email me at ADVIS1809@aol.com with any positive or negative feedback that you have on the program.

Excellent self-help book December 13, 1999
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
This book is fun to read, and often very inspiring. The main reason I like it, however, is the emphasis Mr. Root puts on discipline as being a key component of success...something most books of this type ignore, much to their discredit. All in all, a worthy read.
