This was great, it has plans for the weekend, for a week and for life.
Mary Corkern
I will probably buy a juice recipe book to continue juicing, but there were some good recipes in this one too that I will use again.

This book is more than a recipe book or a diet book, it is a " way of life" book.

This book contains three plans: a weekend juice blitz, a 7 day juice detox, and juice-for-life (which is more like a guideline than an actual plan). There are a lot of recipes in each section along with suggested supplements to include. I liked that the plans include a decent amount of food and not just juices.

I did the 7 day juice detox because I had been eating poorly and wanted to feel clean and healthy, not necessarily to lose weight. I did lose a few pounds, and felt very cleansed by the end. I also never felt hungry. This book did exactly what I wanted it to do. I will probably buy a juice recipe book to continue juicing, but there were some good recipes in this one too that I will use again. If you need an easy plan that tells you exactly what to do, this one is for you.

Just a warning: following the plan (especially the 7 day) is a bit pricey, just because of all the produce and supplements (like psyllium husks and milk thistle tincture), but I felt it was worth it!

My husband and I began a new life style by going, 1st vegetarian, then, vegan, and wanted to add juicing. We had no idea where to begin. The Juice Diet, gave us so much insight.
We have been juicing through the weekend. I have not been hungry, and feel so dang darn good!! Everyhting we made from the recipes are so amazingly fabulous! Nothing yucky. Amazing taste in all the juices! This book is more than a recipe book or a diet book, it is a " way of life" book.
Through this new life plan, I have lost so much weight feel great and am so excited to add juicing to the plan! Amazing for me to say being the former obese junk food-aholic. Life is so good!
Get the book! You will not be disappointed!

I don't really enjoy eating vegetables -- all that preparation, steaming, worrying about preserving the nutrients, etc. But following the recipes in this great book, I can put veggies and fruit into my juicer and drink the equivalent of a salad. And it tastes really good! The book arranges the recipes into groups of juices to boost the immune system, make your skin and hair glow, give you energy, help you sleep, etc. There are diet regimens, too. There's lots of variety in the combinations, and almost every recipe I've tried has been delicious. I've heard a rumor that the recommendations are moving to 9 servings of fruits and veggies each day, but I can do that with this book!

Admittedly, we've only tried one of the recipes within this book... however, it was fantastic! ...We are planning to do the 3-day juicing thing and we are excited about tasting them.

This is not a book of some juice cleanse where you starve yourself for a week and gain it all back. It lays out healthy small meals and snacks between three juices a day, and has options for either a week or weekend detox. Other than these cleanses it also has a large number of great recipes with pictures and explanations of what the ingredients will do for you. This is by far my favorite, as when I am not detoxing I will use various recipes based on what I want. This book is a great place to start for those who are either new to juicing or want to learn more about the specific benefits of particular juices!

I just started juicing. This book is very descriptive, has great pictures and follows a well-balanced healthy diet. I will continue to use it for a long time. I found I like some very healthy foods that I hadn't tried before.

It has a lot of delicious juices and wththe calories that the body needs :) I love it!

THe only thing was hard for me was find some of the aditional products they ask in each recipe, but anyways with or wthout those the combination of the fruits and vegetables that they have in this book are delicious :)

100% recomended

Fantastic book! The recipes are really tasty and ingredients you can find anywhere! The supplements are a little harder to find, haven't found milk thistle ( or however its called ) had the rest in my cupboards though.
And the best part about it is the hunger... NOT hungry! The most difficult part is to resist the "habit" of eating. And it's the first day in days where I haven't felt tired when waking up.
I recommend, it's a great book to buy, full of pictures and colors, it makes you want to try all the juices out!
