Book Description

Previously published in an abridged form as Logans Touch

The mysterious kidnap of the daughter of an ex-Royal Marine brings in old friends from the Corps. Major Wes Van den Heuval, U.S. Marines and Major Harry Kewell an ex-Royal Marine living and working in California. Both men are ex-Special Forces. They are brought together by MI6 and the CIA.
Chief suspect is the emerging Continuity, Irish Republican Army, but they aren’t even in the same ball park. Major Kewell comes head to head with Billy Logan an old Provisional IRA bomb maker with bloody consequences in the Vineyards of Northern California. Old scores are settled. But Kewell discovers this isn’t about the IRA or Billy Logan...there are new threats out there...and Harry Kewell uncovers a secret that over time will rock the establishment from the USA to Europe and beyond.
At one time Harry Kewell knew those he perceived to be the enemy, yet he finds they protect him… and in that peculiar way of betrayal, whose who are supposed to protect him, his friends and his old Special Forces boss he discovers they are trying to kill him…enter that dirty, murky world of the Secret Intelligence Services.
However, the two ex-Marines are prepared to break all the rules and in doing so uncover a secret that rocks the establishment to its very foundations.
When first published in the USA in hardcover, this book caused a storm of protest. Now ....You will understand why.

‘Once a Marine, always a Marine.’

Les has written a thrilling novel, one that keeps the reader in suspense
within a fast moving story. It is a good read and a good book companion
during the long nights of winter. Ted, Ottawa, Canada.
