Author Randy Rogers has written a book that manages to convert even the harshest of non-believers into just the opposite. He does so with a natural ease as he recounts this true story of events that occured in his life. "The Key of Life: A Metaphysical Investigation" is in every sense a page-turner, and I can only imagine that other readers, like myself, would find themselves reading it in one sitting. Randy goes on a quest to find the answers to some of life's big questions, and along his path he realizes that the signs are right in front of his eyes.
Randy's news background makes him the perfect candidate to walk the reader through the spriritual world that many simply cast off as sheer non-sense. He began his journey a bit skeptical, but by the end of his story the signs make it overhwhelmingly clear that this "spriritual world" is in fact, very real.
Imagine that one day, out of nowhere, the thought pops into your head that one of your dear friends from your past has died. Then imagine that after an exhaustive search, finding out that your premonitions were correct. Randy's story takes you along a synchronistic path of metaphysical wonder as he explores his past lives through the use of acupuncture induced regression sessions.
Once you have read this book, the idea of dying won't be as definitively tragic as it once seemed. "The Key of Life" will remind you to open your mind, follow the signs that are around you, and examine the truth that can only be found within each of us.

Randy writes a very easy to read for anyone who may be a non-believer in the spiritual world.
Randy takes you through his own spiritual world, looking for the answers to some of his biggest
questions that are right in front of him with the help of acupuncture induced regression sessions.
Randy makes death and dying seem not as dark and scary as one would seem. This book was very
hard to put down, you just want to see what he encounters next and makes you think about your own
past lives.

I was up until the wee hours of the morning finishing this book. An easy to read, life affirming tale that will leave the reader believing that we have all been here before and there just aren't any coincidences. Might remind of 'Many Lives, Many Masters' but written by an everyman who was introduced to his past lives via acupuncture by a most gifted practitioner. Read and enjoy!

I couldn't put Rogers' book down. All I wanted to do was find out what happened next. I would recommend this book to whomever is looking for a book to read. As I was reading I found myself more open with every new idea Rogers brought up. If you have not read this book, do so now!

As a firm believer in reincarnation and of synchronicity as a spiritual manifestation of the collective unconscious, I really wanted to be inspired by this book. After hearing just a minute or two of an interview with Mr. Rogers on the radio, I purchased the book and began reading with an open mind. It was a struggle to finish reading to the last chapter as it became fairly apparent that the author's "metaphysical journey" was fraught with nearly ridiculous leaps of faith and logic. It seemed that the author was so desperate to "connect the dots" amidst what I would consider his genuine psychic experiences that he didn't consider the possibilities of real coincidence or the vitality of his creative subconscious mind. While no one truly knows why humans exist in a dream state (in sleep or through hypnosis), Mr. Rogers' interpretations ended up feeling far-fetched and self serving. While I enjoyed reading the book as a story of one man's quest, I couldn't help but think he continually missed the real key of life -- "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

The Key of Life is a transformative, healing book that requires that nothing of you but to read its pages. You will ultimately re-examine your own life but the true blessing of this book is that it magically heals aspects of your existence which may have gone unanswered previously. It is addictive as well. You will be unable to put it down until its last pages have been read, like a great mystery novel. But it's no mystery. It's the truth.

Every so often a story comes along that is so inspirational you want to hear it over and over again. Such is the case with The Key Of Life; A Metaphysical Investigation by Randolph J. Rogers.

What makes this book such an interesting read is that it is a true story about one man's spiritual journey, a journey that began with a thought regarding an old childhood friend. A thought that simply would not go away.

The feeling was that Kathy Lynch, a friend he had not seen in 23 years, had passed away. Driven by his previous 20 year career in news, former TV photojournalist Randy Rogers embarks on an investigation to discover the truth. A fantastic series of what many would call coincidences are recognized by him to be synchronistic events, opening up a clear path for Rogers to follow in his search for answers.

As his journey unfolds, Rogers, who was at first skeptical, delves into recollections of his past, not just in this life, but many prior lives. Through the assistance of a Russian doctor, Lucy Postolov, Rogers undergoes a life changing experience through dozens of acupuncture induced past life regression sessions. The results are astounding as he not only comes to understand the importance of his relationship to Kathy but who we really all are, why we are here and how deep the connection is to everyone around us.

Even the most hardcore non-believers may have to consider the possibility that just maybe we've done this all before.

More About the Author

Randy Rogers is a hypno-therapist specializing in past life regressions. His research into the afterlife is documented in The Key of Life, A Metaphysical Investigation. He was professionally trained and certified under America's leading past life therapist Dick Stuphen. Randy's work has taken him across the country lecturing and conducting workshops using hypnosis to explore past lives. He's been a featured guest on the nation's premiere overnight radio program Coast to Coast with George Noory. Randy's private, individual regression sessions have helped many to discover, understand and balance the root karmic lessons they are here to learn.

Randy is also the president of Telefilm, Inc., a production company that has handled the promotion of Hollywood blockbusters like The Matrix, Harry Potter, Pearl Harbor, Batman, Superman, Shrek and Indiana Jones. A career spanning four decades in newspapers, television and motion pictures--working for and with such companies as NBC News, Disney, Warner Bros., Paramount, Universal Pictures, MGM, Lionsgate, Sony and DreamWorks--has earned him several Emmy nominations and numerous press club awards.

Growing up in Johnstown, a western Pennsylvania steel town, Randy began his lifelong path as a photographer when he asked for his first camera from a Green Stamps catalog on his 10th birthday. His first job, that of a part-time usher at the State Theatre in 1969, subtly foretold where that path would be heading, for from that day forward, his real career would be in the news and motion picture businesses.

Starting with a newspaper internship at Johnstown's Tribune-Democrat during the summer of 1970, Randy progressed to television news cinematographer with WJAC-TV the day after his high school graduation in 1971. Two years later, he headed west, spending thirteen years in Phoenix, Arizona. From a beginning with KPHO-TV there, he moved over to KPNX-TV, the local NBC affiliate, picking up the Emmy nominations and press club awards along the way. Randy's career was a fast-moving escalator whisking him to the top of his field.

His baptism in the pool of metaphysics began with breakfast on the morning of April 23, 1986, when he read this horoscope to his wife: What seemed a "no exit" proposition will be brighter. You will have more love and money as result. Get ready for new start. Display pioneering spirit. "Maybe the network is going to call me today," he jokingly prophesied to her and then left for the office. An hour later, as he walked into the newsroom, the receptionist handed him a phone message: NBC News was calling to offer him a job!

Now as part of an elite group of photographers, Randy traveled around the country for NBC News covering all the major events of the day. From the Voyager's non-stop flight around the globe to climbing Mount Whitney with 90-year-old Hulda Crooks, he recorded it all firsthand. His career as a television news cameraman gave him an unparalleled view of the world, and along the way he got to meet and photograph people in every walk of life. From physicist Stephen Hawking to a dredge boat captain on an Arizona canal...every one of them had a fascinating story to tell. Photojournalism gave Randy an education unlike any other.

By the time the 90's rolled around, tabloid news was creeping into mainstream journalism, and it was time for change. Hollywood was calling and Randy Rogers Productions was formed to provide his camera services on commercials, music videos, documentaries, comedy shows and serial television. In 1991, Randy incorporated under the name Telefilm and started focusing more on the making of the movies for all the major studios. Batman Forever, League of Their Own, Demolition Man, Disclosure and The Fugitive are just a few of the dozens of motion pictures he recorded from behind the scenes.

In 1993, Telefilm began producing press junkets for the motion picture industry. By 2009 Telefilm had done the promotions on over 500 movies. Their clients have included Disney, Warner Bros., Paramount, Universal, Sony, DreamWorks, MGM and Lionsgate.

With the release of his book on October 23rd. 2009, Randy's life and career has continued to evolve. He's conducted hundreds of past life regressions on individuals across the country in the process collecting extensive research material on reincarnation and the personal stories that shape our current lives. Relocating from Los Angeles to Bend Oregon along the tranquil Deschutes River, Randy is currently working on his next book and screen plays conducive to his further pursuit of The Key of Life!
