I purchased this book to find some fun ideas for things to do with my kids over the summer. I was disappointed to find that the ideas were very generic and not very clever. The first section of the book (33 pages out of 125) is about things to do at the beach or on water. Ideas include waterskiing and explorings sea caves. Come on! The sports and games section teaches you everything from how to play basketball and softball to hula hoop and tug of war. Each description is a page long and not very informative. They do have some cute ideas but they do not make up for the overall fluff in this book.

If you don't live by (or travel to) the ocean or need basic instructions on how to play sports I would suggest you skip this book.
