Editorial Reviews

After crash-landing on Planet Popstar, Kirby ends up as the pink protector of the villagers. Could Kirby be the legendary knight from the stars whose mission is to save the village? Kirby needs a place to live, but to pay rent he'll need a job! Unfortunately, King Dedede is determined to make sure Kirby fails at every turn. Will Kirby be chased out of Dream Land? Kirby is challenged to a duel by the mysterious Meta Knight. Will our pink hero be able to withstand Meta Knight's attack? Not if King Dedede can help it! King Dedede tries to oust Kirby from Cappy Town by ordering up a fierce cloud monster. Meanwhile, Tiff heads to Kabu Valley and uncovers a valuable secret from an unexpected source. Lured by a trail of juicy, red apples, Kirby gets lost in the mysterious Whispy Woods, putting him in danger! Can Tiff, Tuff and Tokkori save their friend from the trap set by the King? Excitement ensues when the King brings TV to Dream Land, but breaking news reports a huge monster’s destroying Cappy Town in search of Kirby. What's really behind Dedede's TV deception? The ancient bird, Dyna Blade, has reappeared in Cappy Town after 100 years to lay and hatch her egg. When the eggshell turns up empty, is Kirby's unruly appetite to blame? The burial site of an ancient Cappy King is discovered proving King Dedede's ancestor established the Cappy civilization. Unconvinced, Tiff does some digging and uncovers a big secret...Ever notice how FoLolo and FaLala are always together? Why don't they ever split up, and just where do they come from, anyway? Perhaps King Dedede knows the secret to FoLolo and FaLala's attraction

5.0 out of 5 stars Kirby ROCKS!, December 23, 2003
By
Randy (West Chester, PA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Kirby Collection (DVD)
I love the Kirby anime show. I watch it nearly every Saturday morning with my two brothers and have been a Kirby fan since the beginning. This DVD contains the following episodes:

DISC ONE:
Ep 1: Kirby Comes to Cappy Town
Ep 2: A Blockbuster Battle
Ep 3: Kirby's Duel Role
DISC TWO:
Ep 4: A Dark and Stormy Knight
Ep 5: Beware Whispy Woods
Ep 6: Un-Reality TV
DISC THREE:
Ep 7: Kirby's Egg-Celent Adventure
Ep 8: Curio's Curious Discovery
Ep 9: The Fofa Factor

Plus, a bonus documentary on the brand new GameCube game Kirby Air Ride is included, which helps if you own the game, and is also just fun to watch. All this at a great price. This is an must-have for any Kirby fan. Keep watching Kirby: Right Back At Ya! every Saturday morning only on the FoxBox!

4.0 out of 5 stars A Must Buy for Kirby Fans, April 12, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Kirby Collection (DVD)
First of all, this DVD is a must have for Kirby fans, their favorite video game star can now be their favorite cartoon! This DVD contains 9 complete episodes of Kirby (vol. 1-3), whith special features in them all, including "The Fight for the FoxBox," a 30 minute special containted in disc 3. This Kirby-liscious contains fun for all Kirby fans!

In volume 1, Can the pink hero save Cappytown? Can Kirby get a job in Cappytown? Is Kirby strong enough to beat Meta Knight?

In volume 2, Cappytown is shocked, lierally! Can Kirby defeat Kracko? Can Kirby and his friends keep Dedede from destroying Whispy Woods in a campout gone wrong? Is Dedede Tv all about what is says, or is it too hype?

In volume 3, Is Dynablade destined to destroy Cappytown? Was Cappytown really founded by the Dedede clan? Why do Fololo and Falala never split up? All these answered and more in the Kirby 3-Pack Collection!

5.0 out of 5 stars This is how I remember cartoons!, November 6, 2006
This review is from: The Kirby Collection (DVD)
This cute, but at the same time interesting, series is one of my all time favorites. The hero, a pink thing (we don't know exactly what he is) named Kirby, is fun and exciting without being mean or cruel like so many "heroes" are today. Another thing I like is that not all of the episodes are the same. They usually revolve around King DeDeDe ordering a monster from NME, but the monsters are all different and there is usually more than one story happening at once. The monsters are cute, too, so they won't keep you (or your kids) up at night.
