5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product
My husband has used a knork for years. His hands sometimes shake and it gives him more stability. It also aids in cutting meat and cutting into salads. It is excellent quality and I put it in the dishwasher.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, October 10, 2008
This review is from: The Knork 4 - Pc. Set
I was very interested in getting a knork to try, because I have rheumatoid arthritis that severely affects my hands. I wound up getting mine from Bed Bath and Beyond, and we bought a set of 4 satin-finish forks.

These are terrific. The weight of them makes them fit my hand very well. I can cut things like gyros meat, chicken liver and sausage easily without having to use a knife. The curve of the tines also helps pick things up a little easier.

This is a great tool for certain kinds of disability. The satin finish looks fine. I'm so pleased with this item.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product. Gives independence to a person., February 12, 2010
This review is from: The Knork 4 - Pc. Set
If someone you know has difficulty using a fork in one hand & a knife in the other, this is a great solution. The knork cuts extremely well, because the side is angled well to be a suitable cutting edge.

Have no fear-place this easily in your mouth without cutting your tongue or anything else.

Yes, the handle is heavier, but that is probably because the knork is designed with a good application of physics. The unique shape of the edge plus the weight of the handle allows one to cut through any thickness if you have a good strong eating hand.

Use the knork properly-place it on the object (like a thick steak) & rock back & forth. Patience is advised-but then it is recommended to eat more slowly- it's healthy!

Enjoy your steak in a restaurant -you are no longer restricted to soft mushy foods. Be independent-no one has to cut your steak in public anymore!

I had a knork but lost it somehow.
That is why I ordered another.
There is nothing like it. It gets used for
eating everything except soup or pudding.

I love these forks. They are so much better than I expected. I eat with a plate of food in the living room and cutting food while holding the plate was so nice. Last night we had enchiladas and they cut like butter with these forks. Heavier weight than expected but perfectly balanced and easy to hold. Well designed!!

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE the Knork!, March 3, 2011
This review is from: The Knork 4 - Pc. Set
I recently purchased several sets of the Knork flatware and an extra set of the Knorks. I loved them as soon as I took them out of the box. They are very elegant and they actually do work! I purchased the duo finish and it is beautiful. They have the look and feel of very expensive flatware, yet they are surprisingly affordable. Even if you have no interest in the cutting feature, they just have such a nice feel to them.
I highly recommend Knork!

5.0 out of 5 stars Knorks are great!!!, August 10, 2010

I am a stroke survivor and as a result my right hand is paralyzed. I have had to have my husband cut my food for me. I found the Knork and I can cut my own food! What a life changer. They are a quality stainless steel, have a great feel, and can cut through a steak like it's butter! Make sure everyone knows it's good for right hands, but as well as all of us lefties!!! That was my only question about this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chunky, stylish, well-made forks, April 23, 2010

This review is from: The Knork 4 - Pc. Set
Knorks are not the sleekest of utensils, but the heft and solid design is pleasing to use and very well-executed. The tines are strong and well-placed, not too long or too thin like other forks. The edges of both sides are knife-like, enough to assist in cutting foods you would usually try to cut with a normal fork anyway. You won't be leaving your steak knife in the kitchen when you serve sirloin, but you'll find yourself picking up your knife less for things like fruit, chicken, vegetables, and even some red meats.

We bought these after using them at the award-winning restaurant Reef in Houston, TX.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for multitasking, March 3, 2010
This review is from: The Knork 4 - Pc. Set
I am one of those people who used to cut my pancakes, hash browns and deep dish pizza(among other things) with my fork. I usually do not use a knife because I am holding something else (paper, magazine, cell phone etc.) with my other hand. The Knork is great! It keeps one hand free while cutting and eating with the other.

These Knork are a little heavier than your average fork, but that is what facilitates the rocking/cutting action.

They do have their limits, however, they cannot cut through steaks or raw carrots (I don't know why I tried, I just had to!), but to anyone that uses their fork as a knife anyway, these are a great buy!

Works well. Convenient. My mom who has mobility issues really likes the ability to cut without a knife.
