I would recommend this movie but I would be careful because I bought it under it's other title Blue Heat now I have 2 copies of the same movie. It shows how money can lead to corruption any where in high places. The Actors were great the part they played.

Directed by John Mackenzie ("The Long Good Friday") and written by George Armitage ("Miami Blues") and Thomas Lee Wright ("New Jack City"), with a terrific ensemble cast that includes soon to be discovered stars Bill Paxton ("Titanic"), Joe Pantoliano ("The Matrix", "The Sopranos") and the always watchable Brian Dennehy, this solid cult crime classic well-deserves to be seen now that it's finally available on DVD and via instant streaming.

I was having trouble finding a copy of this classic movie anywhere. I was eccited to see a copy on DVD Unfortunatley the word "COPY" is correct. It was a copy. The quality is good and the Menu looks good but the disc was definetly a copy. The case was also a copy. I am glad to have this in my collection nonetheless but was upset it was not original.

An entertaining thriller featuring Brian Dennehy and Bill Paxton as undercover cops whose actions don't always mesh well with their politically sensitive supervisors. Add a healthy dose of cash, drug dealers, a dead cop and corrupt politicians pulling strings in a well written and executed storyline that is still interesting 24 years later.
