The book presents everything you need to know and would learn in the workshop.

During Domino's Law of Attraction workshops, she found that when people truly forgave others, they would start manifesting their goals very quickly.

I can certainly understand that there could be some skepticism for what some would consider too good to be true.

What struck me most about this book was the author's heavy self-promotion. While the book does provide good information on its title topic and can be very helpful, it struck me as having too much of an advertorial focus. It seemed a primary goal of this book was to promote the Connie Domino workshops.

The testimonials seem too good to be true. So and so did this, and that miraculous thing happened right away. The author provides no way to check the veracity of these accounts via third-party references. This a problem, because author relies heavily on these accounts and they make up the bulk of the text (or at least seem to).

While she doesn't provide sources backing her own success stories (except for another self-help author or two), she does provide sources for a few non-workshop accounts of following forgiveness principles. One example is the healing in South Africa following the ending of apartheid.

Among the good information is a script for developing your own forgiveness incantation. Such an incantation can be very effective if you use it properly. She doesn't claim that there are magic words that have any particular power. She provides a means of centering your thoughts in a structured manner.

I'm not an expert in this field, but it is my opinion that forgiveness must come from deep down inside. The incantation won't work unless it's something you really meditate upon. I think this is the author's intent, but she doesn't make that clear enough in my opinion.

While I personally do not doubt that her process is effective (if used properly), she doesn't make a rigorous case for it. Maybe her point is that you should try this for yourself and make up your own mind based on results.

The Law of Forgiveness by Connie Domino, PMP, RN
On her deathbed, my mother's final words to me were, "Susan, forgive everyone!" I said I thought I had already. She said, "Dig deeper!" This book is helping me to do just that!

When I first got this book, I assumed it would be just another book telling me that I would feel so much better if I could forgive everyone, including myself of course. But my interest peaked when I realized it offers so much more than that.

The author discovered while giving Law of Attraction workshops that when people really forgave others, they would start manifesting their goals and dreams at a much accelerated rate! She claims that there is a law of forgiveness, just as there is a law of gravity or attraction.

The author discusses the importance of forgiveness in all the major world religions. Then she discusses her personal journey and discovery of this law. She knew she was on to something big when a woman in her class was able to manifest a brand new building for her charter school in only 8 months (the usual time, from the author's experience, being 5 years). People who had spent tens of thousands of dollars on law of attraction books, seminars, coaches, CDs and DVDs were finding results much faster with her workshop. Many testimonials are given, such as people forgiving someone who owed them money, and receiving the payment within a week after forgiving.

The book presents everything you need to know and would learn in the workshop. Guidelines are given such as whom to forgive, how to know if we need to forgive, what to do if someone should forgive you. We need to forgive not just people, but organizations, institutions and governments.

Format: Paperback
I was just reading the reviews for Connie Domino's book "The Law of Forgiveness." I can certainly understand that there could be some skepticism for what some would consider too good to be true. However, I have been a long time student of The Law of Attraction, and been in many of Connie's workshop's. I was one of the original skeptic's saying that "that old so and so, he doesn't deserve to be forgiven and I'm not doing it!" When Connie explained the true purpose behind forgiveness, that it releases the past in relation to the other person, and helps me to heal, and it's not about the other person, then I thought, well I don't have anything to lose to do it. Once I did the forgivness affirmation, things began happening in my life. It was as if the flood gates opened. I immediately manifested a new relationship with a wonderful man in that very class! I manifested a new job, that proved to be perfect for me, and I manifested a brand new home, which I was able to build on my own. I had no idea how much I had been blocking prosperity in my life because of my unwillingness to forgive. So, for those of you that question if this stuff really works....it really works! I have seen it in my own life, and the lives of friends and family. You have nothing to lose to do this, and everything to gain. And yes, my "case study" is in the book. If anyone has any questions about working with the Law of Forgivness, I will be happy to talk with you.

Blessings to all,

Donna A. Williams
