More About the Author

I live in the inspiring rain forest of the Pacific Northwest, USA where I attempt to balance my time between roaming the outdoors with my family, entertaining them with the random ideas dancing through my imagination and writing stories of romance, fantasy and adventure.

Over twenty years ago, I married my best friend. We have three brilliant, handsome sons, a beautiful granddaughter and two spoiled dogs. When not writing I love to read, hike, camp, rock hound, and take long walks with my husband just after it rains.

This left you wondering just how soon everything was going to happen...............turned the page, and that was the end of the novelette. Hopefully this saga continues on in the next book.

The steam rolled off the pages of this Novella. Claire the herion was quite indepentent- she didn't want to give up her indepence for Marriage, but the love of her life could not leave her heart and mind. Would she compromise and get both love and indepence or not? The story was skillfully moved along , tieing her first Novel, The outlaw of Cedar Ridge, with this one with some mystery not solved yet and by the time you get to end, your left wanting to read more about the Men of the Fir Mountain If you like a good romantic, historal book with a little bit naughty and nice, you will love this read. I got this novella on Amazon.com and downloaded on my Pc Kindle-looking forward to the third in the series of the Men from fir Mountain. Judy Fry

Don't normally read romance novels, but these two from Ms. Connelly have been really good. Like the way she is weaving them together. Really looking forward to her third.

The Lawman of Silver Creek was a great little read that I devoured all in one sitting. The background, late 1800's in the west is a favorite and the lawman hero fits perfectly here. As in the first installment, this didn't disappoint. Characters are fresh and strong but eventually overcome their conflicts and find their way back to love. I really liked that the characters had already been in love for a while and were just trying to work out how to compromise while not giving up who they were.
My biggest complaint is that it was far too short. I really would have liked to see this storyline expanded and maybe have seen some of the back story that went with it. MORE, I wanted MORE!

This gentle but racy historical novella was pacey enough to read in one sitting. I haven't had the pleasure of reading the first instalment in the Men of Fir Mountain series, but each story is standalone - but I can see how they are weaved skilfully together and it definitely left me wanting more!
